The Community of Heritage Creek Website Wins Silver Award from the National Association of Home Builders
The National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC) announced The Community of Heritage Creek’s website as the Silver Award Winner for The Nationals, their new home sales and marketing awards.
Heritage Creek, a new Ocean Atlantic Community located in Milton, DE, received the 2007 Silver honors for the Best Website for a Community category. The Heritage Creek website is now automatically entered in the next level of competition, The Nationals Gold Awards, which will be presented as part of the International Builders' Show at the awards ceremony scheduled for February 7th at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort located in Orlando, FL.
"The Nationals are the most prestigious awards of their kind,” stated David Carey, Project Manager for Heritage Creek. “We are thrilled they recognized our website with their Silver Award and we are looking forward to the Gold Awards ceremony in February.” The website, www.heritagecreekmilton.com, was designed to emphasize the historical feel of the new community through an innovative scrap booking approach. Archival photos from the Milton historical society are interspersed with renderings of the planned homes and amenities, all of which were designed with an eye on maintaining the town of Milton’s traditional architectural features, such as wide porches, turrets, and connecting pathways and sidewalks.
The community of Heritage Creek is currently selling single-family and multi-family homes that are Energy Star efficient and have low maintenance exteriors. A wide selection of plans are available to choose from, including many homes that offer first-floor master bedrooms and single-floor living. A driving force behind the design of the community was capturing the essence of Milton’s storied past, as well as its distinctive architecture, in order to fully integrate Heritage Creek with the town. “We are so pleased that the website brings the connection between Heritage Creek and Milton to life,” said John Sertich, listing sales agent for Heritage Creek. “We wanted the website to be as dynamic as possible so visitors could easily understand our vision for the community.”
