Once the Highway One building is completed, Delaware Renewable Energy Companies will continue to install Photovoltaic Panels on all remaining Ocean Atlantic owned buildings. In response to consumer requests, they are also in the process of creating residential packages that will be offered to all customers purchasing homes in Ocean Atlantic’s latest communities.
Ocean Atlantic Companies will be receiving some outstanding tax benefits and tax rebates from the State of Delaware as a result of “Going Green.” They will be receiving a 50% rebate from the Delaware Green Energy Fund and also a 30% Federal Tax Rebate. “I was truly surprised with the financial benefit of going green,” stated Doug Motley, CFO of Ocean Atlantic Companies. “After I reviewed the financials of the solar project for Mr. Schell, I had to give my immediate approval.”
