Greg Tobias

Greg Tobias is the Executive Manager for Ocean Atlantic Companies which includes acting as the managing partner for certain projects and head of acquisitions and market expansion for Schell Brothers.  Prior to returning to the United States in 2013, he co-founded Ocean Atlantic International in 2004 with Preston Schell to develop residential and commercial property in Eastern Europe.  Ocean Atlantic International was a vertically integrated platform that included development (OAI Management), general contractor (Downtown Construction), architecture (element International), and brokerage (Ocean Atlantic Properties).  As part of a joint venture formed in 2011 between Ocean Atlantic International and MPC Properties (a Merrill Lynch Principal Investments operating company in Belgrade, Serbia), Mr. Tobias was the acting Head of Acquisitions and Development for a retail development program across the Balkans.  Prior to founding Ocean Atlantic International, he worked at Clark Realty Capital in Washington DC as a Development Executive acquiring and developing in-fill mixed-use projects in Washington DC and Northern Virginia valued at over $800 million.

Mr. Tobias joined the Board of Trustees and has been an active alumnus of Carrabassett Valley Academy in 2000. He received a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska (1995) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (2002).  Mr. Tobias resides in Lewes, DE with his wife Sandra and two sons, Lucca (5) and Andrei (3).
