Roger Chaufournier

Financial Officer

Roger Amedée Chaufournier II was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Bethesda, MD.  After playing competitive baseball in his youth and throughout high school, he decided to play for the University of Tampa Spartans.  It is there that he discovered his love of philosophy, a practice that he continues to this day.  After college, Roger went to work for JPMorgan, managing a group of analysts out of their Tampa office.  Currently, Roger serves as the Financial Officer for The Ocean Atlantic Companies, a real estate development firm located in Rehoboth Beach, DE.  Roger is also a licensed real estate agent and received his MBA in Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University.  In 2020 Roger accepted a fellowship with Leadership Delaware which gives the fellows an "MBA in the State of Delaware".

Roger’s view of the world is grounded in the importance of personal development. He wants to make an impact by helping others take responsibility and control of their own growth.  By making an impact at the individual level, Roger hopes to improve the health and productivity of the state as a whole.  Roger’s leadership style is focused on helping others find a connection and purpose in their work.  He believes that leadership is not a job title, or a position, but rather a responsibility and an honor.

As the oldest of five children, Roger enjoys spending time with his family as well as his love, Kristin, a third-generation Delawarean, and business owner.  An avid reader, Roger spends most mornings and evenings inside of a book, hoping to unlock the secrets to a life well-lived.  He enjoys sharing the knowledge that he comes across with anyone, and everyone looking to better both themselves and the world.  Roger is excited to call Delaware his home and looks to improve the state through his compassionate leadership, unfaltering optimism, and belief that anything is possible with the correct perspective and plan of attack.
